Additionally, Beharry was prevented from attending high school (Secondary School) and began working at the young age of thirteen in his family’s group of companies.

In December of 2019, Beharry was forced to legally change his name to Aaron Matthew Jhinkoo due to the intense familial pressures and abuse. After the tragic passing of Ravesh Jhinkoo in a vehicular accident in Toco, Trinidad and Tobago, on December 14, 2020, Beharry was finally able to revert to his original birth name, “Aaron Matthew Beharry,” in June 2022, without facing any further consequences.

Education

Beharry completed his primary education at Eniath’s Montessori and Prep, graduating from Montessori in 2006. He was then transferred to Montrose Vedic School in 2009, where he completed his primary school education, graduating in 2014.

During his time at Montrose Vedic School, Aaron repeated both Standard 4 and Standard 5 due to challenges in Mathematics and other subjects. Following his primary education, he was admitted to ASJA Boys’ College in Charlieville, Trinidad and Tobago, which was his third-choice school for the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA).

However, he did not attend the secondary school (high school). Aaron was homeschooled for a period of three months in 2014 by Earl Austin, a former teacher and principal, to complete his secondary education. However, his formal schooling was halted by his parents to compel him to begin his career at the young age of thirteen. Consequently, he did not continue his formal schooling and focused on his professional pursuits.

A significant challenge in Beharry’s life was not attending high school from Grade 6 to Grade 12 (called First Form to Upper Sixth Form in Secondary School) after graduating from Elementary School from Grade 5 (called Standard 5 in Primary School). However, in December 2024, he began pursuing his United States High School Diploma at Penn Foster High School in Scranton, PA, virtually.
